So I've connected my Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX to my MSI A1000G PCIe5 power supply in my new build and so far it has worked great (except some issues in GTA V, but I suspect that's an issue with GTA V) The 7900 xtx needs three 8 pin connectors but after the CPU to PSU cable is installed on the power supply, only two 8 pin ports are left.
